Busier than before?

So... Not a lot has changed since my last blog that was a couple of weeks ago. Actually... if at all possible... Things are even busier. The stress of it hasn't kicked in yet, for which I am grateful. I'm doubting that in the next seven days, after tonight, I am going to have much time to do anything other than what I already HAVE to do... which definitely and especially includes blogging...

This Saturday night is my event - Well, LSFL's event - called Snuggle Up and Read. It is going to be good. I had been overwhelmed with a lack of volunteers able to come to the event - but the dedication of the volunteers that I DO have (even those that cannot actually physically be at the event, but still help planning) has been amazing, and for that I am grateful. This week is going to be filled with running around for that event, as well as photocopying, prepping stuff, and preparing my game story scvenger hunt... activity... thing - for the book... The Paper Bag Princess... which just happens to be ONE of the most amazing books EVER.

Coupled with running that event this weekend - there is a conference at Freedom House - A conference of Breakthru Blessings for 2007??? Sounds good! I'm SOOOO excited about this conference, and although I am going to be a tad bit late on the Sat night because of my event - I think that I will still make it in time for the guest speaker.

What else is going on this week? Well.. I have a paper due on Tuesday (not tomorrow, a week tomorrow) about a book that I am supposed to have read called "When Bad Things Happen To Good People". Its for a religion class and so far, it is actually a really good book. And yes, I do say SO FAR because i have not FINISHED it yet. So... any time that i DO have this week and weekend that does not include planning, running around or actually being at this event, I have to spend finishing this book so that I can write a kick butt response about it. Did I mention that I need at least four A-(s) to get my average back up to what it was last year?

Midterm season also starts for my on Wednesday the 31st. I'm not exactly sure who calculated that the middle of the term is a third way into the term (since we started on the 3rd of Jan and end on the 31st of March, I'm not really sure where the math went) but... that means that they are not all on the same day... or in the same week... as they were last time.

I'm happy to say that I have only spent $46 on textbooks. And get this, neither were actually Textbooks, they were books that I have to read for religion class. The other four classes I have? I can't afford textbooks for those. There goes that A-? I think NOT. I can do this without textbooks... they usually just sit on my shelf as soon as they get home anyways.

Well... I am late leaving for Bible study now. I am going to run. But wanted to give current updates! Maybe, if I am still alive in two weeks, I'll post again
